13.1 After the Closing Date, all Entrants with no votes will be automatically removed from the competition and their profiles removed from the Awards Website.

The average voter score out of 70 for each entrant and the average voter score out of 70 for each category are then calculated (see below). All those entrants whose average voter score out of 70 is above their category average voter score out of 70 become regional finalists/regionally shortlisted. All those entrants whose average voter score out of 70 is below their category average voter score out of 70 are then examined by the judging panel. The panel may then shortlist a limited number of these entrants via 'wild cards' and determined by the total number of entrants not automatically shortlisted. There is no limit on the number of entrants on each regional shortlist. Entrants not on the regional shortlist for their category will be removed from the competition and their profiles removed from the web site.

13.3 The Wedding Industry Awards reserves the right to not regionally shortlist an entrant where it is deemed that said entrant has not received a sufficient percentage of possible eligible votes.

13.4 Regional shortlists will be announced on the Awards Website in October 2024.

13.5 The regional winners will be announced at a series of regional events and on the Awards Website during November 2024 subsequent to the judging process.

13.6 Each of the regional winners in each category will automatically become national finalists and announced as such on the Website.

13.7 The national winner in each category will be announced and presented live at the Awards event in London in January 2025.

13.8 The Wedding Industry Awards reserves the right to change or amend this methodology at any time. All Entrants will be notified by email within 24 hours of such changes.

13.9 The judging panel’s decision is final. The Wedding Industry Awards reserves the right to change the judging panel at any time without notice.
